UCSF or University of Utah? Which one do I have a better shot at?

Without knowing what state you are from or your ECs, I'm gonna say UCSF.

In that case, apply to UCSF.

Look at the OOS numbers for Utah. If I remember right, they’re pretty bad (worse than UCSF)

UCSF bar none. UTAH only accepts like 15-20 OOS students every year, 10 of those slots are reserved for Idaho residents and the other 5-10 are almost exclusively given to western state residents.

As a 518 URM, OP would likely be equally competitive at either. I just prefer Vandy lol If OP is black, either one (SF is much higher COL so I would still pick Vandy). If OP is latinx, then They will not likely be URM at UCSF and thus, Vandy again.
