before I knew the mcat was going to be computerized, I bought some mcat prep books online and also borrowed some from someone (examkrackers and princeton review) and i thought that was the end of the story.
But now that the mcat is computerized i am not sure what to do, because knowing the material is one thing, but if you dont know HOW to take the test (strategies) is as important, maybe even more important. and i dont want to walk into the mcat room and be surprised by the format. I know a lot of smart people that knew alot but didnt do well because they studied wrong, and i know many stupid people that did well because they studied efficiently.
so now i dont know what to do, should i take a prep class? Has anyone taken one recently? have they added computerized sections to help you adjust to the format? or maybe i should stick to the books and self-studying, as long as i know how to click a mouse and scroll up and down a page i should be fine?
