Yes, my interview was done through Skype. IIRC, they sent me an email after I told them that I would like an interview with them of available times to be interviewed (PR time of course). They are probably really busy in interviewing applicants and narrowing down their selection, but they will email you back eventually.
 
What did they ask during the interview? How long was it?

Pretty much the typical questions like why optometry, why our school, what the difference between optometrist, ophthalmologist, and opticians are, etc. if you look at the interview feedback on this site, it pretty much has all the questions they'll ask.
My interview was pretty short, about 20 min long
 
Any prospective students please feel free to message me with questions. I will give you the REAL info about this place. Remember its the Orientation Committees job to convince you to come here. They will make excuses and try and make it seem like this place is great.
 
Guys lets not have negative comments about IAUPR on THIS thread. Its the entering class thread. Lets keep it ON TOPIC. Its suppose to be for students who have been accepted and have questions or comments about their class. Thanks for your concern but If you have negative things to say, please make a new thread (Which you did, so stay there...).
 
I also had my interview recently on May 4 and I have not heard a reply. I have been checking my mail, email, and phone constantly. I have also tried contacting the school, but have had no luck.

I also had my interview on May 4th and haven't heard anything back. I have been trying to contact the school but no answer through phone or email. I have also been checking my mail daily. I hope they let us know soon.

I also interviewed on May 4th and got an acceptance email on the 14th . Hope you will hear from them soon. Good luck!!

Before becoming a douchbag teaching me about "reality" learn to read the whole thing. This is about entering class of 2019 and THEIR views, ideas and questions. Please learn to read the context of a thread. I dont see nova and ico students jumping in here and talking about their questions and views about their school.
It an IAUPR entering class thread. Keep it that way and get out

I got my acceptance letter on the 23rd, and on the letter it said I have until the 26th to send in my deposit in money order.... My mail would never make it on time. I emailed the admission office the credit card form with my credit card number, but still havent heard back. I m so afraid that the school would drop me if they havent received my deposit. But i cant contact anyone at all by email or phone. I m pretty nervous of the next steps. I just checked and I havent gotten my Hepatitis B shot yet. I probably did but cant find the record. Anyone has these problems? What should I do???? School starts in August and it's the end of May. Only two more months to prepare..so hectic!!!!

I know if you email them your scores you can get called for an interview. That's what happened with me but I am still waiting back on a reply as to whether I got accepted after my interview. Goodluck!
 
Anyone who got accepted is planning to stay on campus housing? Anyone who had expetiences with on campus housing has any thoughts for us new coming class? How do we pay for the on campus housing: they take the money directly from our student loan or we have to pay them monthly ourselves? What do we need to do to reserve the apartment? Thanksssss!!!!
 
Hi guys, I really want to get into IAUPR. I sent my transcript directly to the school, do you guys think they will receive them? I only did this because optomcas transcript deadline was June 1st. It's my last transcript out of 3. I take my oat next week so Hopefully I hear back from them.
 
The orientation committee members are nothing but FAKE. They will talk nicely to you and help you out in stuff, but afterwards when you are not there, and you ask them for a small favor with something as a trusted friend, they don't give a ****. I curse them everyday.
