ICO Essay

I just got some information, that ICO has an Essay after they're intreview. Is this true? HOw many of you guys that intreviewed there had an essay to write? And if you dont mind sharing what your topics where.

When I interviewed (last year) I had to write an essay about what I had to offer the ICO community. I believe they gave me about 10 min.to complete the essay. It really isn't that big of a deal. I know my response sucked and I was still accepted.

It kinda freaked me out b/c my spelling is horrible. But it really is not a big deal, they took me despite my bad spelling. It is just a short essay about a questions. Mine was, What do you have to offer the optometric community?
Don't worry about it, it is not a big deal.

Everyone has to do it. I interviewed this year and the topic was the same as other people mentioned in this thread. We wrote the essay before our interviews.

Let me be the first one who didn't write an essay on the day of my interview. Probably they forgot?!

I had mine before the interview, just cuz there was time to kill since I was the only interviewee that day 🙂
