Looks like I just missed the deadline. Sorry, was out hiking all day and after getting home and showering I accidentally passed out.
I put my investigation results on the thread to start some discussion to see what people thought. They seemed suspicious to me. But since no one said anything I assume no one else finds them weird.

Day 5 Lynch Results:
The powerhouse voting team of FFM and EC easily outvotes the other combos of Dyachei/swings, wildcat/nyanko, and BT/WTF, which just confirms for the mods that using a weighted voting system makes it less likely to have to deal with a tie. While EC holds Wildcat down with the strong arms of a longtime outdoor equipment store owner, FFM drops a brick down onto Wildcat's neck from a window on the second story. It takes a few tries, but eventually Wildcat quits moving and is declared dead.
Sadly, Wildcat was just a wildlife biologist and mushing enthusiast who cared so much for her dogs that she specifically asked us to booty them, thereby getting the mods to give her a game-long reduction in her odds of losing dogs to trail injuries. And no, you can't send in a nighttime item PM of booties for yer dogs. It's been done. Twice.
Better luck next time, villagers, but for now - this lynch goes to the wolves.

Your mod has real person responsibilities today, and is going to whip through the write-up. Apologies. It was a bit of a brutal night, though, so here we go.
First, let's hear a little story about JJ's encounter with the cute little creatures of mother nature:
In the distance, JJ sees a small, furry, white creature.
"Oh how CUTE! An arctic hare! Here bun bun!" she calls, running over to it. Her dog team stands perplexed, all thinking the same thing: Aren't we here to race?
"So cute and fluffy! Oooh! It's so fluffy!!!"
Unfortunately, this particular laprine was a long-lost cousin of the terrible rabbit of Caerbannog. It has waited long for this moment, wanting to avenge its cousin who met his end at the hands of a bunch of keniggits. With a squeal of revenge, the rabbit attaches itself to her neck. Before long, JJ sinks to the ground, still mumbling:
"Fluffy.....so...fluffy...."
JJ dies, surrounded by a whole crap-ton of red snow.

Second, the FH Rule. This mod was all set to implement it to take out the very player for which it's named, when lo in his PM-box came this little nighttime object: lighter fluid.
Yes, that's right, one of our players decided to do some torching. She doused FH in lighter fluid while FH slept at night, and tossed on a match. Her goal?
Race officials discover nothing more than the charred remains.

Third, the veritable clusterf*ck that took place around BT's camp last night. This mod has no clue why people have it in for BeeTeezer, but she's been steadfastly defending herself all game and last night ... well ... let's just give you the sequence.
First, BT tried to build a tree fort to hide in. We've no idea what kind of mac daddy sled BT is driving, but it appears to come complete with a Home Depot's worth of lumber on it because she's built an entire village worth of things this game.
Anyway, somebody sabotaged that effort and the tree fort came tumbling down.
No worries, because yet another player supplied BT with some molasses to spread around the perimeter and slow down any attack.
That's great, except that someone ELSE spiked BT's food with some shrooms, leaving BT in no mental condition to correctly implement what is going to be called the "The Great New Year's Eve Molasses Defense."
And so, BT was vulnerable to the golf ball that a fourth player swacked her in the head with, knocking her senseless.
Even that wouldn't have killed her, though, except for the final attack, which came from an evil musher who stood over BT's helpless body, laughed, and plunged an ice pick through her skull. Ouch.
BT, the ultimate defensive player, has finally been overcome.

Eh, I just couldn't think why villagers would try to kill other villagers but didn't think it would be fair if the bad guys got to kill that many people. It just surprised and confused me.
LIS has to go to the hospital and will not be back by lynch deadline. Here is how we will proceed.
1) If DVMD is around to close out the lynch at noon central, great. She doesn't need me.
2) If DVMD is not around, you may begin submitting night items at noon and one of us will close it out as soon as we can.
3) In either cases, voting closes at noon. Votes submitted after noon, regardless of when DVMD and I post the lynch results, will not be counted.
I hope that avoids any potential confusion.

I think I get what you're saying. I was just saying that it looks like no one from Cohort 4 has been killed, but there are only 2 players there. It just wouldn't be the first place I'd suspect without other information. I admit this thinking could get me in trouble, but a full cohort with only a single kill (and that was a wolf who was lynched). It just doesn't seem right. Could be a newbie wolf. I know I thought that way the first time I was a wolf. I didn't want to kill the people I could talk to, but I've got a feeling someone in there is being wolfy.
Dyachei's information makes me want to change my vote, but I also don't want to. I'm not sure if it'll end up making a different anyway.
Hopefully we find a wolf either way.

The mushers slowly start to come into the checkpoint at Iditarod, what was once a bustling, busy town is now a run-down ghost town
The mushers can hear the wolves howling at night (and no we are not talking about our in-game wolves, wolves in real life have taken over this town). As they set up their camps, they try to determine who was responsible for all the death last night
could it be that only the evil mushers were attacking, did we have some frustrated good mushers that tried to take things into their own hands or was there some other force at hand last night that contributed to the death toll? This will have to be discovered at the end of our journey here across the frozen tundra
As the mushers settle down, the votes come in and it appears as though they have determined that kaydubs should be held responsible for all the death that has occurred they grab some rope, tie her to a tree, smear peanut butter on her face and leave her for the wild creatures that have taken over the town to eat then they hop onto their sleds and head off for the next leg of the race They get about 10 miles out of Iditarod when suddenly kaydubs comes zooming past them on her sled... and even though her face is covered by her snow gear they can tell that she is grinning from ear to ear....
