if i have more than 5 LOR,what should i do? i heard that AADSAS will only process 5 LORs is that correct? so what can i do? do i need to send them by myself? or i still can ask AADSAS to do this for me, with extra $$$,

You should send only 5 🙂 I don't think you need more and neither does the admissions, more stuff for them to read. You may still try to send all the letters but i doubt they'll process it. I had just 5 i remember and that was plenty. Hope this helps.

There are so many people out there who have extreme difficulty getting even ONE LOR. You should consider yourself as BLESSED.

what the heck, just send all of them and see what happens
it won't do any harm to you.

There shouldn't be any reason to send more than 3 LORs. 5 LORs doesn't solidify anything in the adcom's minds. In fact, they are likely to toss them aside and skip them.

totally agree with you there. several representatives who came to my under grad school told us exactly that. 3-4 is enough but anything over 5 is not gonna help you.


now to OP: its true that AADSAS wants only 5. however, i saw afew of my friends submit 6 LOR's and they were accepted. my advice to you though, take one of them out!

Reducing the number of LOR's has already been stated, and so I'm just saying to take the ones you trust the most, and send those...the ones you believe to sing your praises, the ones from whom you know the best. If you think they're all good, then be more critical and choose.

I am one of those who has successfully sent 6 LORs to AADSAS. Because different dental schools have different LORs requirements, AADSAS will usually be lenient with it.
