if i took physics at cc in hs, and i retake in in college, how do i calculate gpa?

I took phsyics at a community college summer before 12th grade. i decided to take it again when i came to my university and got a better grade. how do i figure out gpa? is it new grade, or average of old and new?

Both grades are counted independently as if they were two separate unrelated classes.

Yep, you toss them all into the pot. You can jump around taking calculus at as many institutions as you want.
