If interviews end at around 3 - 4pm, how are you guys scheduling return flights?

Any flights that I find after 4pm are red-eye flights. They are VERY expensive. What are you guys doing?

I fly southwest for about 160 each way. 320 total. But it really depends where you're flying from and where you're going.

Thats completely dependent on where your going. I paid $190 roundtrip from PHX to DEN and then it cost $310 from PHX to Chicago.

Side note.... If you book with southwest you can reschedule and they don't charge you fees but you have to apply your credits with them towards another flight...

Anyone else know about other airlines that have reasonable rescheduling policies?

Don't know which are good...but I do know that Alaska sucks big time when you try to reschedule. They pretty much don't allow it or there is a big fine.

I'm flying out early the following day, so I don't have to worry about catching a flight, and so I can spent that evening exploring the local area a bit more.

im actually having to return the following day for some of mine..and im not even flying across the country...if I wait a day and leave at 7 am..its like 250 bucks....if I dont its over 600...soo...

Either request to have one of the earliest interview times so that you can make a 4 oclock flight, or leave the following day.

I'll be spending an extra day in Des Moines this week, but for other schools I have requested that i have an early interview to minimize the number of classes that I miss.

Look at frontier airlines.

They leave at 7 and come back at around 11. But that is if you are coming back to the west coast. I am not sure about east coast though...
