as the title asks, when they asks why you want to come to our specific dental school, you can talk about..."i'm the right fit for your school because of this, this , this....etc"

But as i'm trying to research the school, I'm having a bit of trouble here. Is there a way to find out how the school's programs is unique in certain way? (ex: early clinical experience; but even then I don't know what is considered early 😕) Because I feel that I can't simply say, "i want to go to your school because the high quality education..." as they know this.

Should I ask someone more knowledgeable about the schools? (dentists, current dental students) is there a way to research this on your own?

Thanks in advance and good luck to all who's applying this cycle :xf:

You can look through their website and find things that make the school unique. That's what I did for the most part. If you know any current students there, then definitely ask them because they'll have the best information.

Any clinic experience during 2nd year would be considered early clinic experience. If you start clinic in 3rd year, then it's just normal.

It was the most difficult part when I did my interview. I am not sure about others but I could successfully answer this question by answering in a very very unique way. If you do a research and find out that a school has this program or that program or this equiptment that others don't have, close from where you live, cheaper.....everyone can say this by doing a website research. I doubt that they wanna hear this kind of obvious answers by hundereds of students and pick you out of all the others who answered in the same way.

Try to find something that nobody or not many people would say.
