Im glad to see that most of the people who replied to this are pretty sure they are getting in. nochaser, I would probably do any of the things you mentioned. Whatever fits you the best. In my humble opinion, medical schools seem to be looking for folks who have a good head on their shoulders, and are sure they want to persue medicine. Prove yourself to them. Also, have you thought of going straight to the source? If you get denied, go to the school you wanted to get into most, and ask! Working in an UNDERGRADUATE admissions office, I know that folks often just throw up their hands when they get rejected, and look to be rockstars or models. Admissions officers have phones, and can be talked to. They are not in a dark, smoke filled room with no contact in or out. ASK. Whats the worse that can happen, they deny you to talk to someone?
