if we did not take usmle, do we still need to authorize release of scores on eras?

I didn't take usmle so I didn't release usmle scores, but now I'm thinking that maybe it will show up on their end as I didn't release them (maybe hiding possible failure) rather than showing up as I have no scores to release?

Do you even have a USMLE ID? I didn't even know they'd ask you to release them if you didn't. I wouldn't worry about this. As AS said, there's nothing to release. You should be fine.
