What would you do differently as a pre-dental student, if you knew what you know now?

I would have tried out for the university cheer leading squad instead of studying organic chem. I could have made the squad easy but I thought I needed to study more to get that "A" in organic.

It turned out I got a "B" anyway and I got into dental school anyway.

The morel of the story is I could have had stopped the "scholar thing" once in a while to have more fun in college.

in 1982 i could throw a pigskin a quarter mile. if coach would have put me in we would have won states, no doubt, no doubt in my mind.

Probably spend more time mastering my bow staff skills, rather then taking biochem. There is no greater incentive then immediate physical trauma, to get your patients to adhere to a home hygiene regimen.

If I could go back.... I would probably look more into the # students each school accepts and also the # of international students (who compete with DMDs for chair).. wow, I was really fooled
