I will not be taking the DAT until early next summer. I'd like to at least try one practice test that is as close to the real thing as possible before I even begin studying.

Yea, the ADA test is probably the best to see where you are. When you start taking more after studying, I recommend topscore and dat achiever. topscore is pretty much the same level difficulty and achiever is much harder but prepares you well. I got a 23aa on the real thing but on achiever i was getting like 18 or 19.
I also say ADA 2009. The only full practice test I did one of the Topscore ones, and I hated it and didn't do too great. Didn't do Achiever (only did PAT section) but the general consensus is that it's a lot harder than the real thing. Did ADA 2009's Bio section and thought it was too easy, but wording was like the real deal.
It would be foolish to only take 1 practice test. With that said, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't do some DAT Bootcamp practice questions. Most similar to the real thing IMO, especially for chemistry.

Agreed, do Bootcamp for sure. But if you are only doing one for now, start with the 2009 practice DAT on the ADA website like the others said. Cost is $37 online or $29 by mail. I suggest getting it through the mail (paper format) so you can actually see what you got wrong.
Get DAT bootcamp though, seriously! It's good for everything, ESPECIALLY the PAT. Programs like Crack DAT PAT just don't cut it.
