If you didnt go to dental school, what were your plans? Or those who are in dental school, if your in dental school now and wish you knew what you know now what whould have you went to or want to go into instead?

Yeah....that's my degree also. Aweful.

Although, I'm hoping to do some research on dental implants or prosthesis so hopefully it'll help me.

But I'd end up getting tired of being an engineer and probably end up in teaching HS science (physics or physiology).

Don't get your hopes up. You won't be the first. I think it's actually common for dentists to play in local groups...the common thread in addition to being dentists is that they all think they're WAY better than they are....from what I've had the pleasure of seeing.

So you should go out with some real talent and suprise everyone.

you know i remember listening to the arrow once (before it became Jack FM...if you're in socal you'll know what i'm talking about), and some dj was saying that his dentist gave him a demo to play on the radio...it was actually pretty decent. the difference between these "local groups" and me is, well, i'm actually gonna make it. you just watch...haha

Not a dream my friend, already done. Ever heard of the Guf's out of chicago(or maybe they are from milwuakee and met in d-school in chicago)? Google them and the word "dentists".

Kinda a cult rock band during the 90's. I know that dates me but they were hell a fun to see at summerfest every year.

I have been living my plan B for years (telecom industry...😴 ). I finally grew some stones and went for it. And now, I can happily direct your attention to my plan A (signature below).

From what I hear, it is very competitive to climb the ladder in I-banking. Only those at the top are the ones making millions.

I think criminal forensics would have been a cool plan B.
