If you find that protein downregulates gene expression, how would you inject it?

So lets say you find some adaptor protein downregulates the expression of some oncogene. How would you include this protein as an agent against the cancer growth. Would you add it to chemotherapy mix?
 
is this just hypothetical, or are you trying to keep your newly developed oncogene suppressor under wraps? hey, its sdn you can let us know.
 
hypothetical for now, in the future hopefully real =)
