If you study so hard that you find the TBR end of the chapter Qs easy and barely miss any, would you do very well on the MCAT? I know there is no absolute correlation, but just in your opinion. Is this a good indicator of being "ready" for the real thing (besides the pressures/stress assoc with the actual test taking situation).

Not necessarily. Knowledge is only a part of the MCAT, and I would even say that test-taking skills, logic, and problem-solving are much more important than knowing the content. You have to know the content, and you seem to be doing well on that front. But if you have trouble with timing, getting information from passages, etc, all that knowledge won't do you much good. Have you taken an AAMC practice test yet? Those are better indicators of how well you'll do on MCAT day, especially 10 and 11.

Yes, I have taken the prac AAMC exams. I purchased 7, 9, 10. But it seems like the passages and the questions are much more simple and much easier than the TBR questions. However, the MCAT scoring curve seems to be VERY harsh. Is it this harsh on the real thing?

Treat the practice exams like the real things. Those scales were used for those exams when they were administered.

OP. Yes and no. I know what you mean about the difficulty of TBR decreasing over time. I'm certain there is some correlation between that and the real MCAT. However, anxiety, fear, and other real life things play a much bigger role that most people estimate. I have my test in 3 weeks and I feel that I'm at a saturation point in studying. The most important thing for me now is to prepare for the anxiety on test day.
