If you took the DAT the last week of June have your scores been posted?

Members don't see this ad.
I took the DAT on 6/27 and they haven't been posted. I thought that it would only take two weeks. This means now that my app won't be complete until at least the fourth batch! YIKES! Has anyone else who took the DAT around then had their scores posted?
 
I took my DAT on June 30 and it's still not updated on AADSAS yet
 
I took mine on June 22nd and they were posted on July 2nd.
 
I took mine on 6/28 and not received yet. wat is going on 🙁

Might just be that more and more scores are coming in AND more and more applications are coming in. Must be more to process.
 
Anyone checked if they got their dat scores posted?
took mine on 6/28 and still doesn't show.

Nope. It seems from Ambreena's reply that they post the scores on Mondays. Keep your fingers crossed!

I took mine on the 30th and it's not posted yet 🙁 however a few schools contacted me and asked me to email my unofficial scores so they could go ahead and evaluate me.
 
I called ada yesterday, they got to releasing scores up to June 23rd then the guy whos responsible for reviewing and releasing scores went on vacation last week. So lets hope he comes back rested and fast working
 
I just got off the phone with AADSAS and they said its taking 3-4 weeks to upload DAT scores after you take them. She said since I took it on the 30th it wouldn't appear until probably the end of July 🙁
 
It doesn't depend on aadsas. See my post above. Ada is the limiting factor
 
I took mine on the 25th and they haven't been posted yet so it looks like we're in good company judging by all the "not yets" 😀
 
Well I took mine early mid june and it officially got received by AADSAS something like June 26th. The schools still don't have my DAT scores though....is there something you need to do to officially release them from AADSAS to the schools?
 
I called the ADA today and the woman said that they would mail out my scores from 6/27 on wednesday and that it typically takes 2-3 weeks. Hopefully she is right and it is all electronic and aadsas immediately posts them so that they can be sent out on friday. Fingers crossed.
 
I also took my DAT 6/27...what do you mean that your scores will be mailed out, are you saying that its supposed to take 2 to 3 weeks from this wednesday? or that they will be sent out wednesday and they should be posted around then too? I thought it was electronic and supposed to be quick
 
when i click on the link "official scores" on my application, i am only seeing the date i took the DAT and when the scores were received. am i supposed to also have my scores uploaded as well? 😕 DAT taken on 6/4/2012... scores received on 6/21/2012

No, that's all. We are complaining that our scores haven't been received.

ADA is (supposedly) going to send (I'm assuming electronically but I am not 100% sure) the scores on Wednesday. After that, I have no idea how long it will take AADSAS to post the scores onto my application and mail them out to the schools. If I don't see the scores added tomorrow I will call AADSAS and ask.
 
ahh, i see! thanks for the clarification. i was almost starting to get worried.

Do you know if they will send out the scores on June 30 also?
 
Mine too! DAT taken 6/27. Scores received 7/17.

Also, If you go to Dental School Designations on the application checklist (not application status) and click on view PDF the scores now appear at the bottom of your coversheet!!
 
Sorry for the confusion, but I don't understand what exactly "date received" means. Does that mean that the schools can now see my scores "officially"? It says date received: 7/17. Am I understanding that right? Thanks again!
 
BOOM!!! Mine are in today. Still waiting on them to receive my transcripts and verify. Sent them on the 12th though and submitted yesterday so they should just get them soon and then I hear like 10 days or so.

I was under the impression that they wouldn't be seen until the next mailing which is Friday, but I'm not sure.

I believe you are correct. However we're all just happy out scores are uploaded so they can be sent in this batch!! 🙂
