Hello, I'm a junior wanting to be a pharmacist. I plan on going to pharmacy school, ect. Since you are a pharmacist can you please tell me about pharmacy school? is it hard? did you ever wanted to give up? Did you have "no life" in college, where you just study all the time? Right now i'm at a professional High schoiol learning how to be a pharm tech, but my true career is to be a pharmacist. Also can you please tell me how life as a pharmacist is? Is it boring?? I know the pay is good, but I want to know what is you guys do. Thanks.

a quick answer to most of your questions: ALL college is hard. it doesn't matter what you study, because if you are serious about it, there will be times when you have to focus entirely on your coursework, and miss out on the fun. there will be times when you want to give up. but that's life.

and honestly, if you are already looking for a "not so hard" major, you should reconsider going to college right after graduating from high school. don't waste your time and money. get a job for a few years, and take that time to figure out what you want to do. and to realize the value of an undergraduate education.

man, i sound like a mom now, but i speak from experience. don't look for the easy way out, because there isn't one.

I have to agree with the above statements. if you are looking for something easy, college or not, you wont succeed. i thought school was fine. it was tough, but having a strong math and chemical background made it a little easier. whether it is easy or not depends on you. i went to all my classes and paid attention and didnt have to study much out of school. Make friends, join the groups available, and you will succeed. Let's just say i know some people who graduated that i still question how they ever picked up shoe tying.
Life is not bad. I have done construction, worked on a farm, played baseball for most of high school and college. I have friends that are in law, medical, and real estate fields. There is nothing out there easier than being a pharmacist if you want a 6 figure income.
The hours for retail are odd. it makes for a different lifestlye. Money in pharmacy doesnt come from a 9-5 job. Still, 40 hours a week can easily get you 100000+ per year.
Everybody thinks of quiting any job. enough said there.
As far as lifestyle, a 24 year old with a convertible corvette, a home owner, no debt (accept a tiny 300/month student loan), and i get to leave work at work. i like it.🙂
