Quick question for all of you who are more experienced than I. When you get an invitation to an interview in the mail, how do you "confirm, in writing, your acceptance of an interview appointment with faculty members who serve on the Admissions Committee"? In other words, just basically tell me what I should say and exactly how formal it should sound. If you could respond quickly it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I would just write this:

To Whomever it may concern.

I am writing to confirm my interview for (date) at (time). Thank you for your assistance.

Regards,
(your name)

Not too formal, but gets the job done.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Is a written letter to confirm interview a necessary thing? Some interview letters just ask the interviewee to call to confirm...

varies by school. Some schools just call you.
