I need someone who has the IHS scholarship.... I want to know how it has worked out? Any info about the practical side is much appreciated? Referrals welcome...

If you're thinking primary care, you might want to check the NHSC. Call them to find out what their policy is on IHS sites; the last that I heard was that they are assessing all of the IHS sites to give them an HPSA rating (all IHS sites used to automatically qualify and NHSC scholar sites). I looked at the IHS loan repayment program and the NHSC scholar or loan repayment programs both offer more $ (although not a guaranteed IHS assignment, if that's what you're looking for).
