For those of us whose advisors took their sweet time writing their recommendation letters and files were not completed until roughly one week ago, run on...(I guess thats why I got an "N"), when should we expect to hear from schools? 😕 I know some of them have stopped looking at new applications for the time being, but some of them are rolling along still. Does anyone know which IL schools are going to call, write, or email sooner than the others? Just wondering, and good luck to all.

YMP 😀

PS: add any schools you like, IL or whatever

My files have been complete about 2 weeks now. I have heard nothing other than my app is still under consideration at Northwestern, UIC and Rush. Have not heard from the other schools, except auto rejection from SIU a long time ago.

I turned my Northwestern app in on 9/15, and the say they are really backed up.

As for Rush, I turned it in on 10/10, and I received an e-mail from them yesterday saying that they received all of my material.

I turned UIC in on 9/28, and I haven't heard from them. If you want to check your status with them, you have to call on Thursdays.

um...I don't think any have "stopped looking at new applications." A lot of July submitters don't have thier AMCAS apps in. Don't worry.

i completed my uic app at the end of august, or early september, and heard back from them at the beginning of this month...

Loyola seems to be really unorganized. I submitted my amcas the first day possible and they just sent me a secondary. However, others have gotten secondaries and recieved interviews quite a while ago.
