Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows what sorts of things qualify you for Illinois residency in order to be an in-state resident for UIC, etc.
Does having an IL driver's license, paying IL taxes, having an IL perm. address, and IL license plates suffice? I'm living here permanently, but I'm also in school and not working, though I will start full-time work in August for one year, until med school starts in fall '05. I will also marry an IL resident in the fall.
Do you have to be a resident at time of application to consider yourself an IL resident, or can it be at time of matriculation to an IL med school?
I am confused about this.
Thanks.
