Can someone please explain to me why Greys Anatomy is good? I tried to watch it and I literally hate every character except Meredith and the main guy.

I have been wishing Meredith Grey dead from season 1, episode 1.

Eastbound and Down.
x100000.

Also:
Nip/Tuck--one of my all-time favorites
House of cards if you like deception and backstabbing at its finest--plus Kevin Spacey is phenomenal and his co-star is a total smokeeeeeeeeshow
Walking dead--character progression in that show has been amazing, some seasons are slower than others, but overall great show
Grey's anatomy--literally took me months to finish even when binging, Yang and Sloan <3
Game of Thrones--No explanation needed here
Vinyl--good if you like sex drugs and rock & roll...and Martin Scorsese (HBO)
Weeds--Last few seasons were ehhhh...but first few were extremely strong
Daredevil--just good ol' fashion @$$ kickings every episode
Suits--Really good "Network" legal show
Any VICE documentary

Also: Movies wise...Just saw the Hateful 8, god I love Tarantino. Dallas Buyers club is amazing as well.

Will definitely have to check out the Knick

Is this the new

??

No. That meme is better suited for the movement of threads to the lounge or SPF as well as when you'd like to just 'shake your head' at the *****ic or dumb thing that was said or done.

The No meme is better suited for a specific thing that is just wrong. In this case, a recommendation of Grey's Anatomy is just wrong.

The hot blonde is constantly complaining.
The asian girl seems to do nothing but try and belittle others
The "shy" guy is also complaining constantly./

Most of all I cant make it through a scene with that guy who basically just sexually harasses the other co-workers all the time.

I havent made it out of the first season. Is it supposed to get better or something?

The hospital and the doctors is merely a setting for the asking of big philosophical questions about love, life, relationships, mortality. Google images for meredith grey quotes. The fact that the hospital is not run the way a hospital is run and that the training is not how doctors are trained is not relevant to the purpose which is to put the characters in situations where they wonder if it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all, and so forth. Each episode has a theme built around the voice over at the start and end.

Yes I get that, doesnt change that the characters are really bad. None of them are likable, at least in the episodes ive seen.

I'm sad to admit this, but I've seen the whole series. Blame my significant other. I make it miserable for her, though, since I point out everything wrong with the show as we're watching (so, essentially, I'm bitching for the entire episode).

There's only one good character on the entire show (imo), and he doesn't get as much screen time as the others. Some of the other characters are likable at some point, but then they eventually do something so ridiculously stupid/annoying that you can't help but hate them.

The Emperor of All Maladies
Cosmos (old and new versions)
Anything on Nova, Nature or the American Experience.
Cosmos. Just saw Neil D. Tyson in Ann Arbor, he is awesome. Breaking Bad and House of Cards. Love GoT, and the GoT books are terrific, if not long.

i just finished band of brothers. it was suuuuuuuper good- if you haven't seen it you should definitely check it out.
