Hello all,
i am a texas resident with a low gpa.. I am graduating in december and i plan on retaking classes in spring 07 in order to replace it when applying to DO schools. D problem is that the only DO school in texas is part ot the tmdas application so i am not sure how i am going to replace my grades when the other schools on the application are allopathic schools. is there another way around this?

Sorry, TCOM is the only DO school that doesn't do aacomas, therefore does not replace retaken grades. Your retaken grades will be averaged with your original grade. If you want to stay in the area, OSU has a DO school that will replace the grade, so if after retaking doesn't get you into TCOM there is another school nearby with a good residency match record in TX. How low is your GPA? It may not be as bad as you think to get into TCOM.
