ADEA actually has a set of guidelines for dental schools to evaluate whether or not you are disadvantaged: http://www.adea.org/AADSASapp/Instructions/applicant-information.aspx

If you meet the EO indicator, then you would consider applying as disadvantaged.

Thank you, it doesn't say what EO corresponds to disadvantaged, by my parents are on the lower half.

Did you receive Federal Pell Grants in college?

I did, all four years. I think my biggest concern was the fact that up till eleven things were pretty good for my family, but then things started going down hill. So technically more than half my childhood was good.
