6 weeks ago, I took an NBME and got a 225. 2 weeks go I scored a 220 and then 1 week ago I scored a 217. I know there's a lot of variability with these tests. I'm concerned about it, but I'm not terribly frightened.

However, in Uworld I've seen my average go down a lot. Over the past 6 weeks since I activated it, my averages at the end of each week were:
1. 63
2. 66
3. 70
4. 68
5. 65
6. 63
--These were all random and timed, I do a set of 46 each day.

It seems I went up and then started right where I began. I've been studying for 6 weeks, shouldn't I be going up? I've gone back and fortified what I don't know well and still can't get the scores I had a few weeks ago.

I'm just curious to know if anyone else had this happen to them and what I can do. My exam is in 3 weeks.

Don't worry about your scores. Its nice to see improvement but it doesn't mean you're not learning if your scores don't show it. Use it as a study resource first and foremost. You'll be fine 👍

I agree with the above.... it's nice to have confirmation that you are improving... but the question you should really ask yourself is that when you miss a question, do you now know it? and if so, you've learnt... and the better prepared you are for the exam - at least than you were before. GL
