So the professor in charge of sending out the composite letters to AADSAS has still not sent mine out after weeks of hounding him. Apparently he is known to do this to students every year. He is a bitter guy who never got into medical school and instead came a biochemistry professor. The only reason he still has his job is through kin relationship with a high up at the school. I feel like it is really late in the cycle and there is a chance I won't get in because of him. My DAT is AA 21/ TS 23/ PAT 17. I also scored a 15 in QR. I feel like the 17 and the 15 hurts my application and the longer it takes for my LoEs to go out, the more apparent my scores in those two areas will stick out to adcoms.

If I do not get into dental school this cycle, is there anyway to completely by pass my school in sending out letters of evaluation? Could another person at the school send them out instead of the current idiot who does it?
Also if I have to wait until next year, is it wise to retake the DAT even though I landed a AA of 21?

Thanks for all the help guys =D.

go to the professors that were supposed to contribute to the composite letter, give them an envelope with the address and stamp, ask them to print out the letter sign, tweak as necessary (attach the loe matchign form) and send it to aadsas.

p.s. it sucks that someone like him can ruin so many predent/premed application process, you have a superb gpa + superb dat regardless of the 16,17 so you shouldnt have to reapply

gluck👍

How about giving him some little gift, not too expensive or fancy, like a box of chocolate or cookie that look nice, and ask him again to the letter.
