I got University of Maryland today. I didn't expect them to send invites on a Saturday. I got my department letter scanned in late Friday and our transcripts will be uploaded next week.

OK - just out of curiousity, is your chairman's letter in yet? I am going nuts waiting for my last few interviews and UVa is on that list -- its frustrating because I am pretty certain that I will get an interview there, I just need to get it scheduled!

yeah it does seem like these interviews are coming in bunches. i am still waiting for my dean's office to scan in my transcript. they are supposed to do it this week. hopefully i'll hear from some more programs after that.

I too am waiting on my Chairman to step up... It cracks me up that he recommended that I not apply to the likes of UTSW, Baylor, and UColorado and yet I lucked into some interviews without his letter.

hopefully he comes thru and helps a little in the end...

My bag of goodies include:
3 LORs (including Chairs), Transcript, etc

Awaiting: Dean's Letter As it won't be down-loaded by schools until Nov 1, regardless.

I was suprised to hear from UVa at this time because I thought (from last years' posts) that they traditionally waited to send out invites after Nov 1.

Any else getting interview invitations via different methods? I have had some in my email, some in my messages at myeras.com, some in both, and yesterday I got one in the mail that has not shown up at either of the other two places. Is this normal?

Not uncommon. Threads from last year indicated that several schools utilized snail mail.

In NYC, I've received interviews from Montefiore (today), St. Vincent's Manhattan, LIJ, and St. Lukes-Roosevelt. But, I've heard that most programs wait for the Dean's letter to be released.

I got an email from UCSF the other day letting me know that they received my application. They'll be sending out invites in a few weeks.

Yup, Im a SUNY Student. LIJ sent me the invite on Tuesday. I'm sure they are still gonna send out more invites, dont stress.
