I know there are only a handful of these types of programs that exist in the country. Anyone here or know someone who is in an IM/Medical Genetics combined residency? What's it like? Feel free to PM me.

Bump! I would like to know as well! Also if anyone can give a guess of how hard it is to get into those combined program's that would be nice.

I do not claim to be an expert in this, but if I were to hazard a guess it's going to be: "as competitive as the IM program in question is". Genetics is not a highly sought after training program. Relatively low-pay career for the extra training.
