My test date is coming up soon, but I recently heard about how great UWorld is! Sucks that I didn't see it sooner. So I'd like to balance it out....which UWorld sections are an absolute must to do that can help raise scores? I don't think I'll be able to finish all 1300 of them tbh, I take forever to go over question explanations. It would freak me out to not finish them all

Which ones are the best??

Also, since NS/EK/Altius CARS apparently suck, would you recommend substituting UWorld CARS test in place of those?

I didn't like their cars as much as AAMC but their psych/soc is awesome. If you learn everything in that section you will give the psych/soc on the real mcat the beating it so thoroughly deserves 😀

I got 127 on my last real MCAT P/S section....but I usually score around 128-129 on P/S. Do you think doing Uworld can help me rise to a 130 P/S in two weeks? I counted and there are 294 P/S passages so it would take me ~5 day to finish them all considering I do a timed 59 Q test

Also, when I log into UWorld, it shows me this page (attached). So basically, I must create my own test to access their Q's right? And the numbers shows for each subject are the maximum number of questions UWorld has available in that topic right? Just want to make sure I'm understanding how to use it correctly!

Hammer through Psych/Soc for sure. Then pick whichever subjects you're weak in, it'll be a great way to improve in that. I started Uworld a month ago and I finished 2/3 of it.

You have two weeks left, and you want to score higher on psychology sociology, you should go over 300 page Khan P/S notes. Even though it is long, the examples are well written and easier to read than 100 page note.

Difference between 128/129 and 130/131 is in the detailed examples you got from 300 page notes.

300 pages could be done in 2 days intensive reading. Might be biggest bang for your shortage of time.

Okay, so I just completed 118 Q's of their P/S section today...are they supposed to be easy? I don't find them to be difficult at all, but I heard UWorld was harder. Is that just for the science sections? I averaged ~85% on the P/S Q's so far, and the ones I missed were mainly content review related and some stupid mistakes.

I would say they are similar difficulty to AAMC section banks. 85% is great, use it to improve content knowledge and use AAMC exams to assess where you're at.
