IM vs Neuro

Hi I am an MS3 (AMG) looking to stay in NYC for residency. I'm torn between Internal Medicine (Primary care) or Neurology. I'm leaning more towards IM simply because there are more IM programs in NYC than Neurology programs..and many of the Neuro programs in NYC are big names: Columbia, Cornell, Sinai NYU and I'm not sure my stats are good enough to get into one of these programs. Got a 212 on step 1,and plan to take Step 2 early.. Any guidance would be super helpful. Thanks!
