Can you refuse the Hep B vaccine? Will you be turned down for away rotations on this basis? The reason I ask is that I've been through the Hep B series twice now and still have a negative titer. I've been told that if you fail to develop a titer after two times, you don't need to try again. However, I cannot locate the records for the first time I went through the series and the clinic I received it at is no longer in operation. So I really don't see the point of paying a few hundred dollars to take the series again but without proof of the first series, I can't get it signed off as a lost cause.
