Alright, so I've got an interesting situation. When I apply to dental, I'm going to have 4 separate transcripts of 4 separate colleges to send AADSAS.

The first is from a community college I took some courses at while I was still in high school. The second transcript is from my undergraduate institution where I did 4 years. The third is from a state college where I took a biology course at through Open University last semester. The fourth is from the university where I am currently completing my formal post-baccalaureate program (this will be about 50 units of coursework).

Will this appear somewhat questionable to have so many transcripts of coursework? Or does it not really matter, so long as I have all the prereqs completed?

I don't see the logic in this.

You stayed faithfully through 4 years of undergrad at the same institution and then went and completed some extras at two other schools.

I have a friend who transferred schools EVERY semester. Now THAT would be questionable.

You are completely normal.

Not a big deal at all.👍

It is only a pain in the neck for you when you try to get all 4 of those schools to send in official transcripts for the application. Other than that schools should not have a problem with it.

You are perfectly fine 🙂 I had to send 3 transcripts to AADSAS 🙂

Doesn't matter as long as you have all the right classes. It's super annoying getting transcripts from four places though. I had to get it from three....

Annoying for you? Yes. Annoying to dental schools? Doubtful. They see one combined GPA only, really.

I'll be in the same situation when applying to dental school.

Might I add, that i'm also a nontraditional applicant. I'm a registered nurse currently working on prereqs and hoping to apply for dental school 2013, at the age of 29. In all, I would have to send transcripts from 5 different colleges/universities when applying....we'll see how that goes.

Yes annoying for you, the applicant, if I wasn't clear on that. The schools don't even see your transcripts when you apply. They only see what AADSAS gives them since they're the ones who verify it.

Get ready for alot of driving/faxing/phone calling since you have to give them the transcript matching forms to send out with your transcripts.

Well, they can see your self-reported coursework. So, they can see you took courses all different places. But that is really of no concern to them.

I had 4 transcripts (one also from college credit during high school). It was no problem 👍
