From my Email client. (Yeah, I still use POP3 with Thunderbird, what of it?)

I can't believe that someone would send this to an educated human being. And this isn't a stupid ass recruiter with a BS in marketing or whatever it is the useless HR people get degrees in...this is the person that is actually the local market director...

Ah...Walmart...

Whenever someone makes a typo on an email, I always look to see just how far away the correct key is before saying "durr de hurr".

I know I'm not the only one.

Wal-mart's motto should be: "disregard quality, acquire currency"

Grats on getting FiOS. It's an awesome service.

Indeed it is.

Comcrap in WV had like 35 HD channels and 25/5 internet...$160.

I haven't even tried to count all of the HD channels I get on the fios...but there is a ton...and you get 35/35...with telephone service...$109/month. Hells yeah.

That's a good point, P4S.

Based on the entire concept of imployment, it makes me realize that I should have just been the smartest kid on the short bus. I could potentially be the freakin' national pharmacy coordinator of Walmart if I just went that route after school...

I'm a fool...

Et's too bad that you ricintly found imploymint ilsiwhiri bicausi E thenk you could havi movid up queckly en thes organezateon.

It should also be noted that the second sentence should end in a question mark.

Not only that but c'mon, is a simple letter format for someone you don't know and are trying to employ for your company really asking too much?

Dear Mike,

*insert generic sales pitch to work for peanuts here*

Hope to hear from you soon!

Regards,

Wal-Mart Rep

Don't they teach letter formatting in school anymore? That honestly looks like the rep sent Mike a text asking him to work, bad spelling and all. Glad to see Wal-Mart cuts corners on their upper level employees as well sometimes.

It doesn't even have to be an extravagant letter format with the business header or anything. Just something to show like more than 10 sec. worth of effort was put into trying to employ a 100k/year salaried healthcare professional who will manage thousands of dollars worth of your inventory.

I don't know. I was always of the opinion that if sending initial letters and e-mails to people, the body of the message shouldn't be smaller than your signature... but maybe that is just me.

Also, the subject is all in lower case letter...

And WTF with the slogan "Save money. Live better". How could you possibly "save" money by spending money? Only idiot buys that slogan. Oh wait, the majority of people who shop there is featured here http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/. No wonder...

Also how can you "have interest in working" there? And where is this place whose name is Market?

Walmart can save you money though. Assuming you buy groceries rather than grow all your own food, it is possible to spend less at Walmart than many other stores, hence saving you money. Or maybe I am an idiot. I am not convinced you have "live better" by shopping at Walmart though.

I don't like bashing companies as a whole because they are out to make money and some companies know how to do it better than others. Wal-Mart was one of the few companies that has has an increase in their stock while most other companies are going down.

However, I do know they didn't do it by spending a bunch of money for employees or an attractive/elaborate store layout like Target or Bestbuy. So yeah. But I'm not going to talk bad about a company that I might intend to work for one day.

That recruiter on the other hand, I will talk bad about because first impressions are meant to prevent things like that or impress others, which he obviously didn't give a **** about.
