Importance of Medical Genetics for Clinical courses and boards..???

Hi all, just wondering, how important is medical genetics for the clinical years and boards.
I really dislike genetics, didn't do as well as I did in that class as on pharm, path, physio, etc.

I mean I will totally brush up on things I struggled with in my medical school class, but how much is it emphasized on the boards and in later years of med school??
