I have a 3.4 GPA for AACOMAS (science and cumulative). I was wondering what the benefits of an SMP are. For the people who do poorly in an SMP, is their SMP degree worthless after graduating? Would you be able to get a job by doing an SMP?

Also do you think I would benefit from an SMP? I have strong EC; however, I have only had sub 500 MCAT despite 3 attempts.

SMPs are worthless alone. Their purpose is for you to get a 3.8+ GPA and get into med school. With multiple 500 MCATs I wouldn't try an SMP, you need to know how to study going in. Do a Post-Bacc that'll teach you those skills too.

GPA resurrection. Showing the you of now is not the you of then.

In most cases, yes. They're high risk, but high reward.

Only if you learn something that's useful in a job. Maybe in Science teaching.

Yes. You've maxed out on the MCAT, so advising another retake is unlikely to help (unless you have test taking anxiety, which is fixable.)
