Hey Guys!
I am shopping for MCAT books and was confused about something. Looking at the 30+ strategies, I see that a lot say they used TPR as material. Now my question is WHICH book are they talking about??? I think they are reffering to the Cracking the MCAT CBT version... but am not 100%sure. I was wondering if anyone could provide clarification for me and tell me which book they're talking about. Also, do you guys think that the MCAT workout is worth the money?
Thank you very much in advance and good luck to all of you for your MCAT preparations

It is typically TPR Hyperlearning (TPR's classroom books). TPR's regular bookstore book is pretty bad and I don't recommend it. You can find TPR Hyperlearning through various Amazon sellers and on the For Sale forum on here.

Thank you soo much for the quick response. Now what I am wondering is will the book be new if I buy it?

Probably not since it's from their classroom course. However, it's so much better that it doesn't matter if it's used or not. Plus, being used isn't a bad thing all the time. Just make sure they tell you if they wrote in their book or not. The only downside to buying used would be if they marked their answers in the book with a pen.

exactly! im concerned that they would write on it and there would be no point. Is the science workbook of 2004 to old in your opinion?

Definitely make sure if they wrote in it or not. You can find good, unwritten TPR Hyperlearning books fairly easily if you wait a little while.

About the science workbook, it's probably fine. Kaplan, TPR, and EK rarely change their books. Still, it may be worth it to wait until someone sells their entire TPR Hyperlearning package.
