Hey everyone, I am taking the MCAT on August 20th and am having trouble bringing up my CARS score (granted I just started 2 weeks ago). I've averaging between a 70-75% on the TBR Verbal and NextStep passages. There are 2 things I want to improve:
- Sometimes I just don't understand what a passage is saying. What can I do to practice (other than just keep taking CARS exams) so that I understand passages fully?
- I average around 10 minutes per passage, and although this is good enough to finish all the passages I get worried during the last 30 minutes of the section because I think I won't have enough time. I want to improve my ability to read faster AND understand what a passage is saying at the same time. Any suggestions on what I can do to get better at this?
