improving GPA and admission to NYU

hi every body, i've a question, i've applied for NYU like 2 years ago but i was denied because of my GPA which is 2.7 and my NBDE was 80 which is low score ofcourse,so mrs AMMY KNOWLS adviced me to take some master classes in biology in order to improve my GPA,i tooke them already,just wanna know if anybody heared before about something like that,and id doese work really,im gonna take part 1 again to improve its score too,please tell me what you think

So, what is your GPA now? As long as its above 3.0 you have no problem with GPA. Also, NBDE scores count... so, yes, you are on the right track!! Go ahead and retake your part 1... before their deadline and apply. Never hurts to try!!

I got WES gpa of 3.70 though,unfortunately my Ece is messed up to an incredible difference ,just 2.98 ,oh god 😡 why such disgusting thing happened to me ??
is this going to effect my admission / any college would consider my wes only ..if i have part1 90up,though ece screwed up .If so,which schools would give me a better chance
i hope there wont be any issue??please some body throw light from some of their experience.i gr8ly appreciate the help.

FYI, ECE doent screw up any GPA. You get what you get. They have their own set of rules .... and as long as you get an interview and you do well on it you are in ... .02 is isn't going to hurt your chances!!!!

Now you are like me ... bad GPA for schools who specifically ask for ECE. What you may want to do is apply to schools this year and see what happens... that's what I have done. But, what you could also do is take some master's program... a 2-year program, could be anything from Master's in Oral biology to MPH and improve your GPA.
