I heard somewhere that Emory waits to accept the majority of their in-state students until the end of the admissions process (i guess that would mean around March). I know you shouldn't believe everything you hear, but I wanted to know if anybody else has heard this as well (or anything else regarding in-state applicants)?

I don't know why they would do that, but man I hope you are right.

At least you had an interview..I'm still just praying I get an invite before the end of the month!

I don't really know about that, I (GA resident) interviewed in November and was accepted around a month later. I know other GA residents who weren't accepted yet, though. I do know that last year, more than half of the GA residents who were interviewed ended up being accepted, so your chances are still good.

These are the kinds of things I like to hear.

The last week or so has been the first time I've really been feeling down about this whole process. I need some good news, pronto!
