I'm sure most D.O. schools have some form of in-state preference. Are there any who are more difficult than others for an out of state applicant to gain admission? I am from Michigan.

I talked to a DO who said that all the TOURO schools and the schools in California are not worth applying to. I don't remember his reasoning, but I am also from Michigan, so if OOS had something to do with it, it'd apply to you as well.

I'm a Cali resident who really wants to go to a med school in state!! Don't know why I really said that (not adding much to the thread), but there are certain schools that are particular (according to stats) to in state applicants, and I'm sure other people on the boards would know which ones more specifically.
