In-state vs. Out-of-state endo program

When applying to dental school I was told schools like University of Florida or Texas schools heavily favored their residents overout of state applicants. Does the same apply to their endo programs?

I don’t know about those two programs specifically but most programs don’t seem to care. It will come down to the individual program director/chair/etc who decides what type of resident they want.

Yes, some residency programs will try to choose at least one of their own.
