In what format to adcoms see our transcripts? Is it exactly like the AMCAS pdf printout?

Sorry if this was asked before, but I'm curious if different med schools reformat applicant's transcripts to see applicant's grades in a semester-by-semester format (more like an actual transcript). Or if what they see looks exactly like what we see when we download out our applications in pdf form. Or if they reformat to some entirely different view.

Just generally curious and find these sorts of "behind the curtain" details fascinating haha

they see pdf

Note: They will see your academic record via the AMCAS GPA Grid and you transcripts as what is the on the AMCAS. EC/W&A are in chronological order on the PDF however schools can rearrange this via category, hours, and MMI.
This^^^^. And, the reason for it is that every "actual transcript" is slightly different. By doing this, every school sees every applicant's grades in exactly the same format, with GPAs calculated exactly the same way.

By Amcas GPA grid do they mean the table at the end of the transcript on the application pdf or table A-23?

Table at the end of the "Academic Record." Table A-23 is not something they look at; it's something they create by their actions! :)

It's for us, not them. They certainly do not consult it when deciding what to do with us!!!
