Hey SDN,
I'm a freshman currently in Undergrad. I'm probably going to get an incomplete in my one credit chemistry lab course for stupid mistakes that i made. If i had the chance, should i just take a C in the class or should i take the Incomplete and then redo the lab and get an A next semester?

please and thank you,

Well I'm not sure about your school, but at my school, the incomplete only stays on your record until you finish the class and then you get the letter grade. I'm not sure if the incomplete even shows up to medical schools but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

If I am right that it wouldn't show up, then definitely take the incomplete and finish it up later. Don't get a C if you can avoid it.

I just talked to my advisor and the choice of recieving an incomplete is no longer an option. I have to choose between a W (withdrawl) or a possible C or D. sigh

It's a one credit class right? I would probably just take the poor grade. As long as you pick up your game ONE CREDIT worth of C/D isn't going to have any significant impact on your GPA. Seems like a lot to go through the course again, then again, I'm pretty lazy.
