Does anyone else have this problem?

My social security card, driver's license and college records all have variations of my middle name. Is this going to effect any paperwork down the line? I ask this because graduation is coming up and I want to make sure it won't backfire if I don't have my full correct middle name on the documents (college records, diploma etc).

i dun think so
mine has some slight variation

i was freakin out man when mcat was comin cause my registered middle name was missing the 2nd syllable and was diff from my driver's liscenceesse.

they didnt care.

SO!

As long as you explain it then it should be okay, for the most part. The one exception I can think of off the top of my head is the MCAT, where they require a government issued ID where your name matches what you registered under.

I have a friend whose last name differs from document to document, and she's never had any major problems. I doubt variations in your middle name will cause any issues.

this is my situation. My last name is supposed to have a space in it, but many times it is left out and my name is condensed to a single word... I'm trying to get everything consistent with the space put it, but I haven't had any problems because of it

Well if you want a job, you want to get that fixed. Base everything that you have upon your Social Security card. I learned through the longer way with my first name

If you are really worried, you could get a court order stating that all these variations are the same person.
