Inconsistent professors

Has anyone else noticed professors at your respective schools basically changing the rules of a class as they go? I understand sometimes things change to BENEFIT the students, like an extra quiz or something, but have you guys seen professors pretty much altering the syllabus in a way that is detrimental to a huge chunk of the class?

In undergrad that was not infrequent. However, in medical school our faculty has actually been very good about sticking to the syllabi. In fact, they're anal about it at times.

In med school: no, they've been suprisingly good at sticking to the syllabus.
