So I know the BS section is like the holy grail of the MCAT and should be a good section to get a lot of points on...but for some reason I'm struggling with it.

Took my first MCAT - around 3 weeks studying

AAMC 3 - 7/11/7

I know the PS is low, but I just need to look over equations and concepts. However, for Bio, I've just been struggling. I think it mainly has to do with the verbiage used in the dispensation of information in the passage/question stems. There is also a good deal of review I need to do, but does anyone have any advice on maybe becoming more familiar with the wording, specifically in like the simulated research findings types of questions?

Thanks

I'd check out the TBR bio passages. I never went through all of them, but I remember they were pretty challenging, with more sophisticated set-ups vs. the stuff you see in EK Bio 101. You may have a hard time with them, and a lot of what they ask is probably not necessary for the actual test, but if you're interested in building up your bio reasoning ability, I think it would help.

In general, the most efficient way to become comfortable with their passages is to do plenty of practice. You could do something low-yield like read science articles, but how will you know if you're absorbing anything if you're not subsequently answering questions?
