I did a few independent study/direct study under zoology and botany department.
I know that zoology and botany count as BCP and I am wondering whether the dental schools won't regard them as seriously as other BCP courses like biochem and so on.

Let me know if you heard anything about this.

Thanks!

Pretty sure they don't take time to nitpick those small details.. Science is science. The learning process is the same whether it is human or animal or plant biology. (Humans are, after all, animals)

Stuff like computer science may be different, because it requires a different thinking process altogether.

Thanks! Many professors don't have much money, so I take credits for working for them as research assistant/project assistant. I took about 3 credits per semester average.

Actually I guess my main question is whether the dental school admission folks look at the independent study/direct study differently from the regular classes. Any thoughts??
