so before i begin, i'd like to mention that i have searched the forums but i haven't found any recent or useful advice about this, so i figured i'd ask the question again...

for people who have heard about this interview or have already interviewed at indiana in the past...is the 2 day interview worth it? what kinds of things do they have on the day before the actual interview (which is on a saturday)? thanks!

? Ive never heard of a 2 day interview for indiana. Are you sure about this? Nowhere in my email do I see anything about this.

maybe it's just for out of state people?

I just heard about the 2 day emails from a friend who attends there...I think he said something like you get to go to a day of classes and see what it is like, but I could be wrong. I'll get back to you on that.

Would not surprise me if this were the case. There have been some upper management changes, and they are about to increase the OOS spots by 20-30 seats.

The 2 day interview was pretty lax around 6 years ago. Basically the first day you go on a tour, lunch, and financial aid meetings. You get prep talks, etcs. The 2nd day is all interviews and depending on which slot you have (30-40min slots), you may end up having to wait all afternoon for your turn, or get lucky and finish with the rest of the day free.

Georgia has something similar, or at least that's what I took from the instructions in the email. The night before there's a presentation (meet & greet), and the next day a tour & interviews. I believe both are mandatory when you schedule your interview dates. To make sure I'd just contact indi

Yeah that's what Georgia does and beware the students that youll be meeting and greeting with the night before ate undercover! And they report back to the admissions/faculty about your social skills or anything negative. (that's what the director of admissions told me anyway)

That's a little creepy...

Yeah :/ but they want well rounded people so I guess it's a good way to pick out the socially awkward people haha

I guess, but seems to me it's a sign of a socially awkward admissions staff.

So is this 2 day interview at indiana for out of state applicants only?
I am an in-state applicant and when i got the interview email, there was nothing mentioned about the 2 day interview.

Thanks!
