So Indiana received my AADSAS application about three weeks ago in the mail and I called them at the time to see what I needed to send (I was waiting to send my rec letters directly to the school) and they told me to wait until I heard from them in a letter. Today, the 27th, I receive a letter dated the 19th that is postmarked the 25th saying that I need to send my letters in. No big deal, right? Then I read the line in the second to last paragraph-
"In order to be considered for fall interviews, the above information must be received in our office by Friday, August 26th." WTF???
Does this mean that I can't interview in the fall at all (and ergo, my chances are not so great at getting in)? Why in the world wouldn't they give me some notice so that I could have actually sent them the letters? Anyone else faced this or a similar problem and have any advice?
I'm a very strong applicant and an in-state resident, but I think we all know that if you don't interview before december 1st that your'e gonna have some serious problems. This school is my first choice and I'd pretty much banked on going there!
Thanks all-
